Von den 3 Jungen Tenören

Carlos Sanchez, born and raised in Dresden, was only 5 years old when he discovered his passion for music and started playing the cello.

Both parents worked in the theatre, so that he grew up behind and on stage from an early age. He first studied cello in Dresden and then singing. He then took part in master classes in Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Bulgaria and won prizes at national and international singing competitions.

As a guest he has already sung at the Deutsche Oper Berlin, the Opera Leipzig, the Semperoper Dresden, the Choir of the Bayreuth Festival, the Oslo Opera House, the theatre Bern, the Chemnitz Opera, the Magdeburg Opera, the theatre Schwerin, the Cottbus State theatre, the Dresden State Opera, the Dresden State theatre, and the theatre Dessau, Görlitz, Zittau, Annaberg, Altenburg – Gera, Halberstadt, Nordhausen, Freiberg, Utrecht, Gmunden.

Carlos Sanchez has been with “Die 3 Jungen Tenöre” since 2016. He feels happy there after the long journey through the music world and is looking forward to many more wonderful concerts with the great musicians: Florian Schäfer, Karsten Gnettner, Stephan Reiser and the star trumpeter Kevin Papst .

With the successful formula of fusing pop and classical music with his classically trained voice, he has fascinated audiences for many years both with the “3 Young Tenors” and as a soloist.
